On the whole, money does artists much more good than harm. The idea
that one benefits from cold water, crusts and debt collectors is now
almost extinct, like belief in the reformatory power of flogging.

Peterborough Fireman's Ball

The Peterborough Fire Department asked me to do a painting of their antique fire engine. It was presented to the town at the fireman's ball and it currently hangs in the Peterborough Town Hall.
