16" x 20" Oil on canvasOf the many times we pulled off the autoroad to take pictures and catch more views, this view of Nelson Craig was one of my favorites. Looking across Huntington Ravine the view of the rocky peak was outstanding. The light was on the peak while gray clouds cast shadows behind it. There were snow fields still visible along those areas which received the least amount of sun. While under our feet there was signs of new growth. The foliage was stunted by the ever persistent wind and harsh weather, but it was returning nonetheless.
