Horses
In painting a larger version of this, including a barn in the background, I wanted to also simplify the composition. These two horses showed an amazing level of cooperation while I was taking pictures.Between the contrasts in their colors and positioning themselves so each one of them could be viewed, I wanted to paint the horses without the background as well as with the barn.
