Last Light - 16" x 20" - Oil

After listening to and joining in the complaints of how short the days had gotten, I went for the positive side - going out to paint the sunset at 3:30 in the afternoon is not as bad as heading out at 7:30 in the evening. So I headed out to one of my favorite painting spots, Mud Pond, Dublin, NH and started my painting. The colors were delightful and the daylight was gone by the time I got home, but this day I had no complaints about the early end of the day.
